Hair weaving, yes please!

   BeWEAVE us when we tell you that this intricate hair trend is gonna trickle down to the mainstream like a bargain-bin full of pleather gladiator sandals. But before that happens, let's bask in the glow of Heidi-esque plaits and, let's face it, a much more creative (and appropriate) use for your average clip-in hair extension.

Hair-stylists at the show sectioned the hair (parted down the middle) into 3 parts as if in preparation for a regular plait. They then did a simple (really?) basket weave of perfectly matched extensions back and forth, over and under, until the three sections were held together in a bunch.

Finish by plaiting the three ends together combining real hair and extensions. Spray with 2-3 cans of toxic hairspray and voila!

When we get a break in our busy work + blogging schedules, we plan to do some how-to's, including DIY versions of clothing, footwear, make-up, nail + hair trends. We plan to try this weaving thing out, so keep an eye out for a future blog (or an edited addition to this post) with our successful (but most likely failed) attempt.
