So it's weird sometimes, particularly working in the fashion industry, to think about the world and its seasons. Northern Hemisphere has Winter right now, we in the Southern Hemisphere have Winter. So who came first? The chicken or the egg? The Northern Hemisphere or the South? We tend to feel behind fashion-wise, always mimicking Europe and the US, but maybe in the future, the Southern Hemisphere will be ahead and the governing body on what's hot? Probably not, but just imagine......
Sometimes I feel like the seasons are so out of wack (especially with el Nino and la Nina) that it's all a mish-mash of weather, climate and clothing. I tend to just buy stuff now that I can wear all year round, like light layers.
